I Love this book, it was very riveting. The characters came alive on the pages. This is a great book! I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good romance with a good story.
If you love Hallmark movies you will LOVE this book. I was captivated the moment I opened it and had to keep reading to know what happened. It was a very easy read and loved how it all came together. I recommend this book for anyone who loves romance novels and want to read something clean. Way to go Katie. Can't wait for the next book.
Love is definitely in the air in this fun romance with a serious sub-story.
A high school teacher. A talk show host. A teenager with cancer. A public challenge that becomes an entire Christmas-season fundraising event. In the midst of all the funds and festivities, the educator and the local celebrity find themselves learning a few lessons on life...and love. I enjoyed watching Annalise and Chris discover surprising truths about themselves even as they fell hopelessly in love—despite their best efforts to sabotage God’s plan.
A charming, well-written story with an underlying call to action on the cancer awareness-and-support front. The author packed a hefty chunk of emotion into an entertaining and nicely developed novella. This one made me smile even as it tugged on the ol’ heartstrings. Kudos to Katie!
Annalise Waters is a radio-show host who loves her job. One day, a caller challenges her about the charities that she supports. He wants to know if she supports the local children's hospital. In the days that follow, Annalise becomes defensive about her personal choices and the radio station decides to organize a fundraiser for the local children's hospital in response to the caller.
The caller is a local high school teacher, Christopher Sanders, who worries about a student who is a patient at the hospital. The student is fighting cancer. All he wants is to shine a little light on the hospital so people are aware of the needs of the kids and the staff.
The fundraiser begins with a bang. And soon, Annalise is forced to face her past - a past that she has hidden from even her best friends.
In the end, does Annalise make peace with her past? Can Annalise and Christopher find love? I won't tell you - you need to read this incredible novel to find out for yourself!
This was a great book! I laughed and I sighed, I gritted my teeth in anticipation, and I cheered for the ending.
This is a great Christmas story! It's easy to read, and is contained well during the Christmas Season. There are just enough characters to make it interesting, without leaving stories dangling at the end of the book.
I enjoy all of Katie Clark's works. Especially, I like knowing that I can read her books without being offended by the use of language that I would be ashamed to show to Jesus.

I mistakenly expected a more lighthearted story based on the title. Annalise carries a hurtful secret. Christopher deals with his judgmental heart. The story touches on the serious subject of childhood cancer. These two lives weave a tale of acceptance and hope.
